This means 1) you lose control over your data, 2) you lose data-residency, 3) you have to buy the cloud storage & compute cost at inflated, marked-up prices from these vendors and 4) if you want to change vendors you are subject to expensive egress charges.
Lifebit’s federated Platform-as-a-Service (FedPaaS) deployment means both the data and the computation always remain in your own cloud tenancy and cloud account - without it being shared with others. In multi-party federation, anyone who needs access to the data will need to be authenticated in each node following an IRB approval and this will be authorized by your data administrators.
