Build on health data
that cannot move.

Platform, expert time, and compute for registries, public-sector pilots, and federated AI projects. Data never leaves the source.

Who it is for

Three kinds of team, one problem: the data is valuable and it cannot move.

Governments, health systems, biobanks, non-profits, and research consortia are all eligible. Pick the focus area closest to your project when you apply.

Health non-profits

Organizations holding critical disease registries or rare disease datasets that need modern, secure data infrastructure without a capital project to get there.

Typical ask: a governed home for a registry, ready for approved researchers.

Government and public sector

Entities caught in the chicken-and-egg cycle: a seed pilot is needed to demonstrate return before long-term funding can be secured.

Typical ask: a funded pilot with measurable outcomes in one budget cycle.

AI and federation pioneers

Teams launching pilot projects in federated analytics, Sovereign AI, or autonomous AI Scientist workflows across sites that will not share raw data.

Typical ask: a two-site federation with an AI Scientist running inside it.

What selected organizations receive

Not a discount. The platform, the people, and the compute to ship a result.

Questions

Before you apply

Anything else: grants@lifebit.ai

Who can apply?

Health non-profits, government and public-sector bodies, health systems, biobanks, and research teams working on federated analytics, Sovereign AI, or AI Scientist workflows. If your project fits more than one focus area, choose the closest and say so in the description.

Does our data have to move to Lifebit?

No. The platform runs in your environment, and analysis and AI come to the data. Data never leaves the source.

How is the size of an award decided?

By the scope of the pilot: how much data preparation it needs, how many sites take part, and how long the license must run to reach a result. Awards run from 3 to 24 months of license, up to 200 expert days, and up to $1,000 in credits.

What happens when the fund period ends?

You keep the results, the harmonized data, and the workflows. Continuing on the platform is a separate, optional conversation; there is no obligation to license afterwards.

Prefer to discuss your proposal first?

Our technical team will help you shape the application. Write to grants@lifebit.ai.
